Reasons for the establishment of a Sudanese Islamic Center in Nottingham
A great need for appropriate facilities for performing religious rites in light of the steady increase in the number of Muslims in the city and the inadequacy of many of the existing facilities with moderate Islam, which are available from mosques of a national or mystical nature, in addition to the difficulties related to hosting gatherings related to weddings and sorrows. Meeting the urgent need to teach basic worship, Arabic, and English to Sudanese children and women in Nottingham, in addition to providing services for marriage contracts and divorce transactions. Facilitating and promoting the health and sports aspects of both genders, by providing appropriate aids and climate, especially for the female side. Solving difficulties related to preparing the bodies of the dead and assisting in burial procedures in the Islamic way and meeting the related costs.
